We are packing up already to head out of Santorini but had a wonderful time here! Pictures are of course worth a thousand words! Taylor and I have been amazed at the differences between each place we've been and it's hard to pick a favorite spot because they have been so diverse.

Santorini is built on the flat spot on the island and then down into the cliffs. The drive up here is quite the experience and not for the weak hearted. You start at sea level then before you know it you're staring out over the cliffs to the sea way down below. The contrast of colors is amazing and the people here are just as friendly as in the other places we've been. Taylor and I keep wondering where'd we would live if we chose to live in Greece.
Our first day was seeing the city of
Fira which is where our hotel is located. They are probably the largest of the cities here on Santorini. After seeing a little of the town we headed to the pool and relaxed for a bit. Second day was spent on a sail boat going to the volcano island and swimming in the Aegean Sea. The water is so clear and very salty. We met 2 different couples while on board one from Australia and one from Canada. We don't seem to have a difficult time meeting people. :)

Our last day was spent back in the town a little bit looking arround but after Taylor climbed down the stairs and then back up....quite the workout. I chose to stay behind at a table watching her from the top - I was too much of a chicken! We did a little more laying out by the pool, I took a nap (trying to fight off a cold) and then we met our friends from San Diego for dinner in Oia.

All and all Santorini is a great place to visit and I have many more pictures to put up but not enough time! Many more stories but not enough time or space to write it all down so we'll have to fill everyone in when we get home. Hope you are all enjoying the pictures!

Today we're off to Mykonos for 5 nights!
