After a much better ferry ride this time and meeting a guy who was a former ER doctor from Atlanta we arrived on the island of Mykonos.
Mykonos is the place for relaxing! We spent some time out at the pool and were surprised when we jumped in that it was salt water. They have a swim up bar and an area deck for lounging and having lunch. To say the least our hotel was absolutely amazing with the view of the ocean from our room to the outstanding service and great food.
We spent 3 nights on Mykonos and went into town 2 of those nights. They have a bay area similar to some of the other islands but this place was hopping. We realized not to long into our trip that this was not exactly what we had expected.
After much thought we decided we’d rather spend a couple more days in Athens seeing what we could there and so decided to make those arrangements. Stay tuned for more from Athens…..
